Originally called Fontanelle, in the 13th century the name was changed to Hospitalis Montis Virgini. It is a wonderful place for summer tourism and a good starting point for Pilgrimages to the Sanctuary of Montevergine. Overlooking the whole territory, rich of woods, is the Partenio Mountain.
