San Michele di Serino

Of medieval origin, this village was for many centuries a hamlet of the Serpico fiefdom. Later feudal lords were the Noble Nuns of S. Giorgio. The old village was razed to the ground by the 1980 earthquake; the new settlement was completely rebuilt.
