Santa Cesarea Terme, Region Puglia (Apulia), Italy

Situated along an uncontaminated coastline full of prehistoric caves, the town is at the outmost end of the Salento peninsula.

Santa Cesarea rises on a plateau and is a seaside and spa resort, thanks to iodine-sulphur waters in the thermal springs of 4 grottos, Gattulla, Fedida, Solfurea, and Solfatara, all connected to the sea, with waters of different temperatures and compositions. It is included in the newly-established Natural Park Costa Otranto - Santa Maria di Leuca e Bosco di Tricase.
